The stage four lungs cancer is the final stage of lungs cancer. It is the incurable stage of lungs cancer. In this condition the contaminated or diseased cells spread out rapidly and infect the other healthy tissues of healthy organs.

By leading an unconscious lifestyle many people have been affected by various diseases and illness. Here some diseases are not so harmful to health and are curable by proper treatment. But some of these diseases may not be cured as they have no proper treatment yet. Cancer is one of these diseases by which any people of any age may be affected. Any organ of the body can be affected by cancer and from there it can spread to other healthy organs of the body. Reasons of Lung Cancer

Lungs may be caused by various factors which are directly responsible for this disease. Some of the general reasons of lung cancer are given below:
• A factor which promoting all type of lungs cancer is smoking. A current investigation shows that not only the active smokers but also the passive smokers are equally affected by diseases causing by smoking.
• Compared to other organs lungs are more exposed to the exterior surroundings, they inhaling injurious smokes and gases which may cause lung cancer.
• Those who work in factories like carpet mills, asbestos factories; lung cancer is more common to them. So this is also called an occupational hazard.

Stages of Lung Cancer

Before knowing about the stage four lung cancer symptoms and signs, it is better to know about another stage of this lungs cancer. In small cell lung cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer the stages are different types. Every individual type is staged differently.

Small Cell Lung Cancer

In this type the cancerous cells grow and spread rapidly. This stage is most common to heavy smokers. This type is staged into:
• Stage I: Here, the underlying lungs tissues have been affected by the cancer cells. In this stage the lymph nodes remain unaffected.
• Stage II: When the disease is advanced to stage II, lymph nodes adjoining the lung tissues get affected. Here, the chest wall is also affected by the cancer cells. The nearby structures (e.g., diaphragm, the mediastinal pleura or the parietal pericardium) with lungs are also affected in this stage.
• Stage III: this stage has two parts. First part A, the disease takes over the lymph nodes, and in part B, the disease attacks the lymph nodes on the opposite side of the chest.
• Stage IV: The final stage; here the cancer spreads to other healthy parts of the body as the liver, bone, brain, etc.

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

This stage has two parts.
• Limited: The disease remains restricted to its area of origin, and the lymph nodes closing to the affected area.
• Extensive: Here, prospects are, the cancer might have attacked both the lungs and beyond lymph nodes and other organs like the liver, brain, etc.

Symptoms of stage four Lung Cancer

Earlier we have an idea about the stages of cancer. Now it’s the time to know about the symptoms of stage four lungs cancer. As with most diseases, no indications or symptoms occur in the initial stages of the disease. But as soon as the symptoms appear, it generally denotes that the disease have by now attained an advanced stage. So the familiar stage four lung cancer poses the following symptoms:
• Coughing which does not get resolved.
• Blood in cough may have present which is further known as hemoptysis and this is common to most cases.
• The patient may have difficulty in breathing, and have chest pain.
• Huskiness and breathless are also experienced.
• Bronchitis or pneumonia occur frequently (not always specify lung cancer, but when appears with above symptoms it is likely to do this).
• Bone pain, headache, accidental weight loss, engorged or swollen lymph nodes and shape changes of the fingertips are also the common symptoms.

Treatment

Different stages of lungs cancer need different type of treatment. Early diagnosis is essential for every individual stage. Chemotherapy and radiation are used to demolish the affected cells and control their growth. Surgical elimination of the affected part and even the whole organ is also applied in order to amplify the patient’s durability. The treatment actually depends on diagnosis system, spread of the disease and patients response during treatment. Moreover with the modern advanced technologies the patient life can be somewhat extended.

The first recommendation for avoiding lungs cancer is to avoid smoking. The toxic chemicals should also be avoided. We all should remember that to lead a happy life health rules should also be maintained.
